Kamrul Hasan: On the occasion of the 6th death anniversary of late Manikganj District Jubo Dal President and dedicated organizer Kazi Raihan Uddin Tuku, leaders and activists of the district Jubo Dal paid deep respect and offered special prayers in his memory.
On Monday (November 3) morning, leaders of the Manikganj District Jubo Dal laid floral wreaths at the central graveyard in Manikganj town as a mark of respect to the departed leader. Later, a special doa and munajat (prayer) was held, seeking forgiveness for his departed soul.
The prayer gathering was attended by District Jubo Dal Convener Kazi Mostak Hossain Dipu, Senior Joint Convener Zia Uddin Ahmed Kabir, Joint Conveners Mostafizur Rahman Prince, Asif Iqbal Rony, Yakub Hossain Raja, Sihab Sumon, Masud Rana, Akhtaruzzaman Akhtar, Roman, Abis Khan, and Shibaloy Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Sohel Rana, along with other leaders of the BNP and its affiliated organizations.
The munajat was conducted by Habibullah Nomani, Central Member of the Ulama Dal and Joint General Secretary of Daulatpur Upazila BNP.
While recalling the ideals and leadership of the late Kazi Raihan Uddin Tuku, the speakers said:
“He was a devoted organizer who spent his life inspiring the youth with the spirit of democracy and nationalism.”
The prayer event also included supplications for the forgiveness of the departed soul, the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, the good health and long life of Acting Chairman Deshnayak Tarique Rahman, and the overall welfare of the country.
In the local political sphere, Kazi Raihan Uddin Tuku is remembered as a symbol of inspiration for the youth. The commemoration of his death anniversary evoked deep emotions among BNP and Jubo Dal leaders and activists in Manikganj.
