Md. Mizanur Rahman, Chapainawabganj: Relatives held a press conference in Shibganj, Chapainawabganj demanding the search for Bulbul Sarwar, who has been missing for 5 months. On Monday at 12 noon, Bulbul Islam`s mother, Kobra Begum, held a press conference in the conference room of the Online Journalists Association in Baten Khan More, Chapainawabganj, demanding the search for her son.

Kobra Begum said that Bulbul married Nargis Khatun, daughter of Naushed Ali of Miratupi Babupur village of Ranihati Union of the upazila, in 2020. After a few months, trouble arose when they did not get along. Nargis worked in a private clinic in Ranihati. Bulbul had disagreements about this job. Because Bulbul alleged that Nargis had an illegal relationship with an official of the clinic. Even when he went to meet Nargis at a private clinic, other clinic employees would beat him up. Finally, on June 21, 2025, at 4 pm, Bulbul left the house, saying that he was going to his in-laws` house to see his son. Since then, my son has been missing for about 5 months. I want my son back. The missing Bulbul is the son of Rafiqul Islam of Purba Shyampur village, Shyampur union, Shibganj upazila.
