Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) on Thursday night released the supplemental results of 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam, recommending the appointment of 1,681 additional candidates.
According to PSC Public Relations Officer S.M. Matiur Rahman, the supplemental and consolidated results of 44th BCS-2021 were published after cancelling nominations for lower-cadre posts within the same cadre and preference order.
In the supplemental results, 250 candidates were recommended for Administration Cadre, 10 for Foreign Affairs Cadre, 50 for Police Cadre, 14 for Ansar Cadre, 30 for Audit and Accounts Cadre, 11 for Tax Cadre, 8 for Cooperative Cadre, 7 for Railway Cadre, 10 for Information Cadre, 23 for Post Cadre, 6 for Commerce Cadre, 27 for Family Planning Cadre and 3 for Food Cadre.
The remaining 1,232 candidates received recommendations for various Professional and Technical Cadres, including positions within professional and technical posts of those cadres.
PSC emphasized that these appointments are part of a consolidated process to ensure fair and accurate placement of candidates across all cadres.
