Gold prices in the domestic market have reached an unprecedented high, keeping pace with the international market.
Just within 48 hours, the price of high-quality gold has increased by more than Tk 23,000 per bhori. The price of 22-carat gold now stands at Tk 285,999 per bhori, which is the highest in the country`s history.
The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) disclosed this information through a press release on Thursday (January 29).
It stated that the price of refined gold (pure gold) has increased in the local market. As a result, considering the overall situation, new gold prices have been set.
