At least six more people have died with measles and the disease-like symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Sunday.
Health authorities confirmed that one of the deceased was infected with measles, while the remaining five deaths were recorded as suspected measles-related cases.
The information was disclosed by the DGHS Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room in an afternoon update.
According to DGHS data, a total of 75 confirmed measles deaths have been reported since March 15, while suspected measles-related deaths have reached 384 during the same period.
The health authority further reported 7,767 confirmed measles cases since March 15. In addition, 57,846 cases were classified as suspected infections.
During the same period, 42,092 patients were hospitalised with suspected measles symptoms, while 37,744 patients recovered and were discharged from health facilities.
