MASTUL Foundation Launches ‘Mortuary Bathing & Funeral Care Center’ to Provide Free, Dignified Funeral and Burial Services for Underprivileged and Unclaimed Individuals . With special approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the direct cooperation of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, this unique service officially commenced operations this year. Under this initiative, MASTUL Foundation provides completely free funeral support for helpless and unclaimed deceased persons, covering all essential arrangements, including the shroud (kafan), ritual bathing (ghusl), and burial, along with all associated expenses. Akmal Hossain Azad, former Senior Secretary to the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chief Executive Officer of MASTUL Foundation.
