The Zia Parishad DESCO branch has organized a grand inauguration and discussion meeting of the membership recruitment and tree plantation program. Abdullah Hill Masud, Senior Joint Secretary General of the Zia Parishad Central Committee and Standing Committee Member, was present as the chief guest at the program organized at the DESCO Training Building on Monday (July 20) at 5 pm.
Speaking at the event, Abdullah Hill Masud said that Zia Parishad is an intellectual organization of BNP. He urged the leaders and activists of the organization to know the history and said that martyred President Ziaur Rahman laid the foundation for turning Bangladesh into a democratic state. He also claimed that BNP played a role in restoring democracy when the country was in crisis.
He further said that BNP does politics with the love of the people and is committed to building a corruption-free Bangladesh. At the same time, he warned that any misdeeds committed using the name of Zia Parishad will not be tolerated in any way.
The event saw the introduction of new members and the formal inauguration of the tree plantation program.
Agricultural expert Md. Monowarul Islam Enam, Joint Secretary General of the Zia Parishad Central Committee and member of the Standing Committee, was present as the special guest.
The event was presided over by Zia Parishad DESCO Branch President Sajedul Karim. The event was addressed by DESCO Branch General Secretary Md. Moazzem Hossain and other leaders of the organization. The event was moderated by DESCO Branch Organizing Secretary Md. Jahangir Mogol. At that time, leaders and activists of various levels of Zia Parishad DESCO Branch and newly appointed members were present.
