Are We Heading Toward World War III? Let’s Take a Closer Look!

Nou Muslim Muhammad Raj: The Iran-Israel conflict is no longer confined to just two nations—it has now spiraled into a global geopolitical storm. On one side, Iran is backed by Iraq, Oman, Pakistan, Venezuela, Russia, China, and North Korea. On the other, Israel has gained the support of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, and Australia. India remains officially neutral, though its recent diplomatic tone leans sympathetic toward Israel.

Israel, under "Operation Rising Lion," has launched attacks on Tehran and several other Iranian cities. In retaliation, Iran has fired ballistic missiles and deployed drones. Hundreds have been killed or wounded on both sides. Tehran now faces a growing crisis of food, fuel, and security. Reports suggest over 244 people have died in Iran and around 1,200 have been injured—the vast majority being innocent civilians.

Analysts say this may not officially be World War III yet, but the shadows are growing darker. With Russia and China backing Iran, Western powers rallying behind Israel, and nuclear threats now in open conversation—the stage is set for a possible full-scale global war. North Korea has openly aligned itself with Iran and announced plans to boost its military capabilities.

In such times, the Muslim Ummah must rise above sectarian divisions. Children, women, and families—who understand nothing of politics—are the ones suffering. This is a time for unity, wisdom, and bold diplomacy. A divided Ummah can never build an honorable future. Those who remain silent today may find themselves questioned by history tomorrow.

World War III hasn’t officially begun—but we are standing right at its doorstep. If we don’t wake up now, tomorrow may be too late.
