Quantum buried 3,540 people with corona symptoms: Khandaker Sajib

MT Desk : The Quantum Foundation started its journey in 1996 with the conviction of `Seva Uttam Ibadat`. Every activity of Quantum Foundation is conducted on self-initiative, self-planning and self-financing to stand by the needy people. Today, the Quantum Foundation is not just a name, but a history. It has extensive activities and contacts in the national and international arena. It has already received national and international recognition. Quantum graduates include many eminent personalities from the country, including the country`s elite, political leaders, top bureaucrats, senior army Persons.

In addition to the recent burial activities, the reporter talked to Khandaker Sajibul Islam Sajib, in-charge of the Quantum Burial activities, about various aspects of the Quantum Foundation. Interview has been taking by MM Rahmatullah, Executive Editor of The Muslim Times.

The Muslim Times: When and for what purpose the Quantum Foundation founded?
Khandaker Sajibul Islam: The Quantum Foundation was established on January 1, 1993. On the other hand, the Quantum Foundation started its journey in 1996 with the conviction of `Seva Uttam Ibadat`. Every activity of Quantum Foundation is conducted on self-initiative, self-planning and self-financing to stand by the needy people.

The Muslim Times: When and where did Quantum Burial activities begin? Please, tell us in detail about Quantum Burial activities.
Khandaker Sajibul Islam: Quantum burial activities began in 2004 with the burial of unclaimed bodies from Rajshahi. Later, its activities continued in most parts of the country including Dhaka, Chittagong and Barisal. The Quantum Foundation came forward when there was a kind of fear in the minds of the common people about the burial of the dead in the Corona and Corona symptoms. The Quantum Foundation has been burying the dead in Corona Syndrome since April 7, 2020. So far, Quantum has said goodbye to 3,540 died people of all nations, regardless of race or ethnicity.

The Muslim Times: What activities is the Quantum Foundation currently involved in?
Khandaker Sajibul Islam: The Quantum Foundation started its journey in 1996 with the conviction of `Seva Uttam Ibadat`. Every activity of Quantum Foundation is conducted on self-initiative, self-planning and self-financing to stand by the needy people. Quantum Foundation is involved in a variety of social and service activities; these include Maternal Welfare, Voluntary Blood Donation, Children`s Gardens, Clean Water Supply, and Assistance to Flood Victims, Circumcision, and Assistance to Orphans.

The Muslim Times: How many batches of training activities have been completed for Quantum Graduates so far and what is the estimated number of Quantum Graduates?
Khandaker Sajibul Islam: So far 474 batches of training activities have been completed and the estimated number of Quantum graduates is about 1 lakh.

The Muslim Times: Please tell us about how you got involved with Quantum Burial Activities and how you manage it.

Khandaker Sajibul Islam: I joined Quantum almost one decade ago and am currently in charge of Quantum Burial Activities.
