MT Desk : The government on Saturday recorded 67 more deaths from coronavirus, the highest fatalities in a single day, taking the tally to 13,466.

Earlier on May 2, it reported 69 COVID-19 deaths in a day.

In the past day, 3,057 more people were diagnosed with the virus, raising the total infection to 8,48,027, the health directorate said in a press release.

However, the total number of people who recovered from the coronavirus pandemic reached 163,175,793 across the world.
