MT Desk: Emerging poet and lyricist Shaharoul Gazi is known as Shaharoul Islam Sujon in the literary world. He was born on 14 January 2003 in a Muslim family in Haludbunia village of Dakshin Bedkashi union of Koyra police station in Khulna district adjacent to the Sundarbans. His father Akbar Hossen and mother Shefali Khatun. He is the youngest of four siblings. Shaharoul Gazi has been fond of literature since childhood.
He passed the secondary examination in 2018 from the science department of Kapataksha Secondary School in the village and the higher secondary examination in 2020 from the government Hazi Mohammad Muhsin College in Khulna. He was a successful student in the science department. He has merit signatures in all classes from primary to higher secondary. He is currently studying in the first year of Graduation in Development Studies at Kathmandu University in Nepal, receiving a South Asia Foundation (SAF) Madanjeet Singh Scholarship.
Shaharoul Gazi has had many talents since his childhood. He specializes in songs, ghazals, music, and sports. Rhymes, poems, columns, short stories, and Islamic music are some of his writings as a writer. In particular, he portrayed the rights of the underprivileged, contemporary, pragmatic, and rebellious in his writings. He has entertained all the readers, big and small, through his writings. His writings have been regularly published in various national newspapers and magazines in several countries, including Bangladesh.
His written Islamic songs are being released on various channels and are getting a huge response from listeners. In his career, he has been a student as well as engaged in other social activities. In private life he is unmarried. He wants to use his talent, ability, and hard work to go further in the future and establish himself as a self-reliant person in the interest of the country and the people.
