Govt extends Eid, Durga Puja vacations
  Date : 18-10-2024

The government has extended the Eid-ul-Azha vacation to five days, Eid-ul-Fitr holidays to five days, and Durga Puja holidays to two days.

A proposal in this regard was approved at the advisory council meeting held at the Chief Adviser’s Office, Tejgaon in the capital on Thursday.

Generally, there are three days of holidays for each Eid festival and one day for Durga Puja celebrations. However, the interim government had extended the Durga Puja holiday to two days this year on executive order.
