kamrul Hasan : Former Organizing Secretary of Manikganj District BNP and member of District BNP Convening Committee Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Habu has given a stern warning to political conspirators, saying that one`s popularity cannot be stopped through slander, false accusations and planned conspiracies.

He said, "The more popular one is, the more conspiracies are made against him. But history has proven that in the conflict between truth and lies, truth ultimately wins. The people of the country know and believe this truth.

He made these comments while exchanging views with party leaders, supporters, general voters and local residents during a meeting with party leaders and activists at Dussehra in the city on Wednesday morning.

Habu said, “During the fascist Awami League regime, a group was involved in the dirty game of eliminating political opponents. In continuation of this, recently, the ACC case application against BNP Chairperson’s advisor and Manikganj District BNP convener Afroza Khanam Rita was accepted and publicized in the media. However, the source of this case is a very old issue of Munnu Ceramic Company, which will be dealt with through the law and the truth will be proven.”

He also said, “In the past, due to her popularity, the leader of the country, Begum Khaleda Zia, was systematically harassed by filing false ACC cases. A group has been carrying out various conspiracies for a long time to reduce the popularity of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. Now, Afroza Khanam Rita, a trusted companion of the Zia family and a tested leader, is becoming a victim of the same conspiracy.”

Habu warned, “Those behind these conspiracies will be brought to justice. We will continue the fight to establish democracy, justice and truth.”
He called for building a united public opinion to face all adversities, including implementing the 31-point plan to repair the state structure announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to fulfill the dream of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, and sought everyone’s prayers for the recovery of national leader Begum Khaleda Zia.

Leading figures of district and upazila BNP and all associate organizations were present at the event.
