Md. Mijanur Rahman Akanda, Phulpur: National Girl Child Day-2025 was observed in Phulpur, Mymensingh with the theme "I am a girl child dreamer, I fight with courage, I work for the welfare of the country".
A discussion meeting was held on this occasion at the Upazila Parishad conference room at 11 am on Wednesday. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sadia Islam Seema presided over the program, where Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tasnim Jahan, Upazila Women`s Affairs Officer Armana Haque, Primary Education Officer Shah Newaz Begum, Social Service Officer Shihab Uddin, Project Implementation Officer Begum Shahin, Upazila BNP Convener Alhaj Siddiqur Rahman and others were attended. Moreover, girl children from various schools and organizations, along with local journalists were present at the program.
Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Kamrul Hasan Kamu moderated the event.
