Cautionary signal No 3 advised at Ctg, Cox’s Bazar ports
  Date : 04-11-2025

Maritime ports in Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No 3 as a low-pressure area over the east-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Myanmar coast persists, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a special bulletin.

The system is expected to move north-northwestwards along the Myanmar-Bangladesh coasts. Under its influence, deep convection is occurring over the northeast Bay, and gusty or squally weather may affect Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, the northeast Bay, and adjoining coastal areas.

All fishing boats and trawlers in the northeast Bay have been urged to return close to the coast and navigate with caution until further notice.
