Desk Report: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami conducted an election campaign with great enthusiasm in the Dhaka-6 constituency. The party`s special attraction, the `Multimedia Election Bus`, arrived at Dayaganj Mor in Gendaria on Friday afternoon, creating a stir among local leaders, workers, and the general public.
A road rally started from Dayaganj Mor at 3 pm, led by Dr. Abdul Mannan, Jamaat-e-Islami`s nominated MP candidate for Dhaka-6. The rally ended at Bahadur Shah Park via Sutrapur.
In his speech, Dr. Abdul Mannan urged people to participate in the upcoming election and vote for Jamaat-e-Islami. He promised to ensure the coexistence and security of people of all religions if elected.
He highlighted the civic issues in the Dhaka-6 area and promised to address drainage, traffic, and infrastructure problems on a priority basis if elected.
During the campaign, Jamaat-e-Islami`s development plans and manifesto were displayed on digital screens on the multimedia bus, attracting passersby. The rally ended at Bahadur Shah Park.
