International: Following the successful launch of Algeria’s Remote Sensing Satellite-3 from China’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on Saturday, January 31, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune exchanged congratulatory messages.

President Xi noted that the Remote Sensing Satellite-3 project represents another successful example of China–Algeria cooperation in the space sector, following the launch of Algeria’s Communication Satellite-1. He described the project as a significant reflection of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. In recent years, bilateral relations have achieved notable progress, with political mutual trust steadily strengthening and practical cooperation delivering tangible results. President Xi emphasized the importance China attaches to the development of bilateral relations and expressed his willingness to work closely with President Tebboune to further advance the comprehensive strategic partnership, bringing greater benefits to the peoples of both countries.

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stated that the successful launch of Remote Sensing Satellite-3 is another concrete outcome of cooperation between the two countries in the field of space technology and marks a milestone in the development of bilateral relations. He expressed Algeria’s readiness to continue strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership with China.
