Mymensingh Marks World Health Day with Rally and Awareness Forum

Rayhan Ahmed, Mymensingh: World Health Day was celebrated in Mymensingh with the theme “Science in Health Services, Safety for All Lives.” To mark the occasion, the Mymensingh Civil Surgeon’s Office organized a colorful rally followed by a discussion meeting.

Dr. Pradip Kumar Saha, Divisional Director (Health) of Mymensingh Division, attended the event as the chief guest. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Faisal Ahmed, Acting Civil Surgeon of Mymensingh District.

Following the rally, a discussion session was held with the participation of representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO), various non-governmental organizations (NGOs), BNSB members, medical officers, senior health education officials, and other staff of the Civil Surgeon’s Office.

The speakers emphasized the importance of integrating science-based approaches in healthcare services to ensure safety and well-being for all.
