Rally and Discussion Held in Mymensingh Marking National Nutrition Week

Rayhan Ahmed, Mymensingh: A colorful rally and a discussion meeting were held on the premises of the Mymensingh Civil Surgeon’s Office to mark National Nutrition Week 2026 (April 23-29).

This year’s Nutrition Week is being observed under the theme: "The days of nutritional disparity are over, we will build a self-reliant Bangladesh."

The discussion was held in the Civil Surgeon’s conference room following the rally at the Civil Surgeon Office premises. Acting Civil Surgeon Dr. Faysal Ahmed presided over the discussion.

Also present were a representative of the Superintendent of Police, representatives from various NGOs including BRAC, Bandhu, and FPAB, the Junior Consultant (CDC), and officials from the School Health Clinic, DRS, and Chest Disease Clinic. Medical officers from the Civil Surgeon’s Office, senior and junior health education officers, other officials and staff, and journalists also attended the event.
