Diplomatic Desk: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss the evolving regional situation, with particular focus on the recent round of mediation efforts held in Doha.

During the conversation, the two foreign ministers expressed satisfaction over the positive progress achieved during the latest negotiations and voiced optimism that the dialogue process would continue in the near future to advance regional stability and peace.

Prince Faisal commended Pakistan’s constructive efforts and steadfast commitment to the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). He also appreciated Pakistan’s continued role in facilitating dialogue and promoting lasting peace in the region.

The two leaders reaffirmed the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement and close coordination to support ongoing peace initiatives, underscoring their shared commitment to fostering regional security, stability, and cooperation through dialogue.
