Moin Mahmood : The annual meeting was held on the last day of the two-day 9th International Society of Obstetric Fistula Surgeons (ISOFS) Conference held in Dhaka. It was informed in the meeting that the 10th conference of ISFAS will be held in the year 2026 in the West African country of Senegal. An executive committee was formed for this purpose.

Professor Igor Vaj (Mozambique) has been elected as the president of the committee and the executive secretary Dr. Itengre Wedraogor (Burkina Faso). Others on the committee are;
Vice-President Pr. Serigne Magueye Gueye (Senegal), Treasurer Pr. MohanRegnie (Nepal), Scientific Secretary Pr. JustusBarageine (Uganda), Auditors Dr. Abdoulaye Idrissa (Niger) and Dr. Salumu Kambobiya (Congo), Ex-officio member Pr. Sayeba Akhter (Bangladesh), Regional Representatives for Western Africa-Dr. Sadiya Nasir (Nigeria), Eastern Africa- Dr. Fekade Ayenachew (Ethiopia), Southern Africa- Dr. Lenny Starforth (Mozambique), Central Africa- Pr. Valentin Vadandi (Tchad), Middle East- Dr. Iqbal (Yemen), Southern Asia- Dr. Mussarrat Sultana (Bangladesh), USA/Europe- Dr. Christine Edward (United Kingdom).
