PSTC Holds Professional Staff Meeting in Dhaka

Special Correspondent: The Professional Staff Meeting (PSM) of Population Services and Training Center (PSTC) was held on Thursday at the PSTC Auditorium in the capital. A large number of professional staff members of the organization attended the meeting.

PSTC Chairperson Ms. Sanjida Islam presided over the meeting, while Executive Director Dr. Noor Mohammad addressed the session. The meeting reviewed the organization’s overall activities, achievements, challenges, and future plans.

Dr. Noor Mohammad said PSTC has made remarkable progress in 2025, particularly in expanding healthcare services and strengthening institutional capacity. He highlighted PSTC’s contribution to improving maternal and child health, family planning, and community-based healthcare services across the country. He added that thousands of beneficiaries have received quality healthcare through PSTC-supported programs.

The objectives of the Professional Staff Meeting were explained at the outset, followed by discussions on head office operations, management efficiency, monitoring mechanisms, and work environment.

It was also informed that PSTC annually recognizes best-performing staff members to encourage dedication, teamwork, and improved service delivery. As part of this initiative, the “Goal” award is presented for outstanding performance and successful implementation of new initiatives.

In her concluding remarks, Ms. Sanjida Islam emphasized the importance of professionalism and commitment among staff members to further strengthen PSTC’s services and ensure sustainable development.
