Nur injured in clash with police outside JaPa office

Online Report : Gana Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur was seriously injured on Friday night during a renewed clash with police in front of the Jatiya Party (JP) office in Kakrail.

He was later rushed to hospital by party activists.

Eyewitnesses said Gana Odhikar Parishad activists had returned to the area around 8:15 PM, reportedly in response to an earlier altercation. Tensions escalated when they allegedly chased away JP leaders and supporters from the scene.

Security forces, including army personnel, soon arrived and cleared out the JP activists. Police then instructed the Gana Odhikar Parishad members to vacate the area within ten minutes.

When the group failed to comply, law enforcement reportedly launched a forceful baton charge, resulting in chaos and multiple injuries.
