Following the Politics of the Prophet Brings Peace and Tranquility: Muslim League Secretary General

Special Correspondent: An event marking Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi was held at the central office of the Bangladesh Muslim League in Banglamotor on Saturday (September 6, 2025). The event featured a discussion and prayer gathering chaired by Syed Abdul Hannan Noor, a member of the party`s Standing Committee.

During the event, party leaders stated that the last Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him), was not just a religious preacher but also the head of state of the first Muslim state established in Medina, the first commander-in-chief of the Muslim army, and the chief justice.
They emphasized that in any situation, national leaders can find solutions to political crises by studying the life of the Prophet. If we do not confine the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to only the role of a religious figure but instead embrace his universal teachings and political and state leadership, it will lead to the welfare, prosperity, peace, and continuous tranquility of humanity across the world.
Party Secretary General Kazi Abul Khair said in his keynote speech that under the Prophet’s guidance, the world`s first written constitution—the Constitution of Medina—was drafted, a shining example of his political foresight. The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah with the pagan Quraysh of Mecca stands as a testament to his exceptional diplomatic acumen. The bloodless conquest of Mecca was a unique achievement of his military strategy, considered a remarkable event in the history of warfare.
By analyzing these events from the Prophet’s political life, even in the current post-uprising complex political scenario, pathways for resolving political crises can be discovered.
Other participants in the discussion included Standing Committee members Engr. Giasuddin Ahmed Chowdhury and Sheikh A. Sabur; Vice-President BM Nizam; Additional Secretary Generals Kazi A.A. Kafi and Maksudur Rahman; Organizational Secretary (Chattogram) Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan; Publicity Secretary Mamunur Rashid; Office Secretary Mozakker Bari; Central Leaders Tajul Islam, MA Jinnah Manik, Shafiqul Islam Javed, Maulana Abdul Matin, Mahmud Hasan, Nirupama Yasmin, and Md. Nurul Huda among others.
At the end of the event, a prayer was held, including the recitation of Durood (salutations) upon the Prophet (PBUH), seeking unity and prosperity for the Muslim world.
