Conspirators Will Never Succeed : Habu

kamrul hasan : An anti-independence, anti-constitution, and anti-democracy force is deeply conspiring in the country, said former Organizing Secretary of Manikganj District BNP, Rafiquddin Bhuiyan Habu. He warned that although these groups are constantly active in destroying the people’s right to vote, freedom-loving citizens are ready to resist. “The conspirators will never be allowed to succeed,” he remarked.

On Monday afternoon, during leaflet distribution, mass communication, and street rallies in support of BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman’s 31-point agenda for state reform and seeking votes for Afroza Khanam Rita’s candidacy with the Sheaf of Paddy symbol, Habu made these comments. The campaign took place in Arangabad, Keuarjani, Nayakandi Bazar, Rajibpur Bazar, Barahirchar, Dashra, Boro Bazar, and the Kachari Maidan area of Manikganj Sadar Upazila.

Habu alleged that in the past, “fascist” Sheikh Hasina inflicted relentless oppression, persecution, and killings on ordinary people, making their lives unbearable. Eventually, she was forced to flee the country under the pressure of people’s movements. However, her associates are still trying to destabilize the nation, he said, vowing that none of them would be spared.

He further stated that the Chief Adviser of the current interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has announced that the roadmap for the long-awaited national election will be unveiled in early February 2026. Yet, a quarter is attempting to sabotage the election and undermine the achievements of the July 24 Revolution. “The freedom-loving people of Bengal are determined to resist such evil forces,” Habu asserted.

The BNP leader also claimed that Bangladesh was freed from fascist rule due to the prudence and foresight of Tarique Rahman. To preserve this achievement, he urged leaders and activists at all levels of the party to remain united. He called on everyone to set aside divisions and work shoulder to shoulder to fulfill the dream of BNP’s founder, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, and ensure victory for the Sheaf of Paddy.

He concluded by seeking prayers for the quick recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and for the good health and long life of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. Leaders of BNP, Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, Sramik Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and other affiliated organizations were present at the events.
