kamrul Hasan : It is not possible to stop someone`s popularity through slander and conspiracy, said Tuhinur Rahman Tuhin, member secretary of the Manikganj District Jubo Dal Convening Committee and member of the District BNP Convening Committee.

He made this comment at a prayer meeting and exchange of views organized on the occasion of the 56th birth anniversary of Begum Khaleda Zia`s youngest son and prominent sports organizer Arafat Rahman Koko on Tuesday afternoon.

Tuhin said, "The more popular someone is, the more conspiracy is against him. But the conspirators should remember - in the conflict between truth and lies, truth is sure to win in the end."

Referring to the recent ACC case against Afroza Khanam Rita, advisor to the BNP chairperson and Manikganj district BNP convener, he said, “The application for a case filed against Munnu Ceramic Company long ago during the fascist Awami League has been accepted and publicized in the media after so long. The company will fight according to the law and the truth will be proven.”

He alleged that in the past, the leader of the country, Begum Khaleda Zia, was systematically harassed by filing false ACC cases due to her popularity. A group has been conspiring for a long time to reduce the popularity of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman. Similarly, he claimed that a conspiracy is also underway against Afroza Khanam Rita, a trusted associate of the Zia family and a tested leader.

Tuhin also said, “These conspirators will be given a befitting reply through the law.”

At the end of the program, special prayers were offered for the repose of Arafat Rahman Koko`s soul, the recovery of national leader Begum Khaleda Zia, the long life of Tarique Rahman, and the welfare of the country.
