Chhatra Dal wants RUCSU elections after Durga Puja
  Date : 22-09-2025

Chhatra Dal wants the Rajshahi University Central Students’ Union (RUCSU) elections after Durga Puja.

While speaking to reporters at the university`s Paribahan Market on Monday, Sheikh Nur Uddin Abir, vice-president of RY Chhatra Dal and VP candidate of the panel said, "We have always believed in democracy. We see that the festive atmosphere and the influx of voters and candidates that were there 48 hours ago, has now come to a standstill. There are almost no voters. Most of the students have gone home."

``If the Election Commission considers the presence of voters, in that case I would say, ``Try to understand the students` pulse.``

As per the scheduled, the RUCSI polls will be held on September 25.
