MM Rahmatullah: The green campus of Wega Group was once again filled with the vibrant presence of Kurzonians, former students of the prestigious Kurzon Hall, University of Dhaka. On Friday, January 23, 2026, over five hundred students and their families gathered at Wega Group`s campus in Shalikchura, Ershad Nagar, Tongi, for a grand reunion.

Kurzonians from across the country arrived at the venue, filled with energy and enthusiasm, along with former students from various faculties of the University of Dhaka. The event featured an array of traditional delicacies, including Chitui pitha, Vapa pitha, date palm syrup payas, dal puri, and fuchka, accompanied by continuous servings of tea and coffee.

The lunch menu featured traditional dishes, including local fish, chicken roast, beef and mutton rezala.

The program included captivating debates, cultural performances, music, dance, recitation, and comedy, featuring participants from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. The event was also marked by lively discussions and group photo sessions.

GM Pavel, student of 1996-97 Batch moderated the event, while the Kurzonian Reunion 2026 aimed to strengthen bonds among former students and reminisce about the golden days at Kurzon Hall. The attendees seemed to relive their youthful memories, enjoying every moment of the event.

Wega Group`s Chairman, Md. Mezbah Uddin Ali, delighted everyone with his warm hospitality, making the event a memorable one.
