Pakistani High Commission hands over three-wheeler to differently-abled man from Rangpur
  Date : 25-05-2026

Rangpur Bureau: In a gesture of goodwill between Bangladesh and Pakistan, the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka has handed over a three-wheeler to Mr. Md. Asrail Alam, a person with a disability from Jharbisla in Rangpur.

Alam had earlier sought assistance for a three-wheeler from Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to support his mobility and livelihood. Responding to the request, the High Commission arranged for the keys of the vehicle to be handed over to him on the commission’s premises.

Officials described the initiative as a reflection of the fraternity and goodwill that exists between the two brotherly peoples.

The handover was carried out at the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka, where Alam received the vehicle in the presence of mission officials.

Such assistance programs are part of Pakistan’s ongoing outreach to support vulnerable individuals in Bangladesh, officials said.
