Trade through Hili land port resumes after 6 days

The export and import activities between Bangladesh and Indian through Hili land port resumed on Tuesday morning after a six-day holiday for Durga Puja.

Earlier, the import-export activities through this port remained suspended from October 9 to 14 on the occasion of Durga Puja.


However, the movement of passengers with passports between Bangladesh and India through Hili immigration check post was normal.

Hili Land Port custom C and F agent association president Md Ferdaus Rahman confirmed it on Tuesday morning.

Hili Immigration Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ariful Islam said that on the occasion of Durga Puja, although the import and export through Hili land port was closed, the movement of passport holders between Bangladesh and India was normal through the immigration check post.
