5 killed as two buses collide in Ctg on Eid day

Five people were killed after two buses collided head-on in Chittagong`s Lohagara upazila on Monday morning.

At least six people were injured in the accident that happened at about 7:25AM.

Fire Service`s media officer Talha Bin Noman confirmed the accident and the number of fatalities.

He said that a Cox`s Bazar-bound `Saudia Paribahan` bus collided with a mini bus at Jangalia Mazar Gate area, leaving five dead on the scene.

All the deceased were the passengers of the mini bud, it was learnt.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
