Sylhet Correspondent : There has been an incident of attack at the house of an immigrant in the United Kingdom, Chhatra League leader of Sylhet, Ferdous Ahmed Khan. The incident of attack occurred at the house of Md. Abdur Rob Khan of the village West Brahmmon Gram of Goala Bazar-3124 area under Osmaninagar Upazila of Sylhet district around 12-00 noon Monday. Md Rejaul Karim Khan Raju, elder brother of Ferdous Ahmed Khan was injured in the incident, family sources informed.

Md.Abdur Rob Khan father of the Chhatra League leader informed the attack was conducted as an offense of his son`s involvement with the politics of the Chhatra League. Two false cases have been filed against him. The attackers ransacked various furniture (TV, CC Cameras and valuable things) of the house incurring a loss of about Taka 10 to 12 lakhs. A tense situation has been prevailing in the area following the incident.
