Police have arrested three more suspects in connection with the brutal murder of journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin in Gazipur.

Gazipur Metropolitan Police arrested them in separate drives on Friday night (August 8).

The arrested are Shahjalal, 25, son of Hanif Mia of Cumilla; Md Faysal Hasan, 23, son of Kiamuddin Hasan of Pabna; and Suman, who was arrested with a machete and a switchgear knife.

Police said the trio were directly involved in Tuhin’s killing.

Shahjalal was arrested from Char Mosland Morolpara in Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh, while Foysal was arrested from a rented house owned by Rafiqul Islam at Mahbub School Mor in Chandana area of Ward No. 17 in Gazipur.

With them, total seven people have, so far, been arrested.
