School Student Stabbed to Death by Miscreants in Manikganj

Kamrul Hasan : A school student named Abdullah, also known as Rabbi (16), was stabbed to death by miscreants in the Putail area of Manikganj Sadar upazila on Saturday night (October 11). The incident took place around 8:30 p.m.

According to local sources, Rabbi was rescued in a critically injured condition and taken to Manikganj Sadar Hospital, where on-duty doctors declared him dead around 10:30 p.m.

The deceased, Rabbi, was the son of expatriate Mohammad Manik Mia of Bhati Kafatdia (Khalpar) village under Putail Union. He was a student of class nine (Humanities) at Kafatdia High School.

Upon receiving the news, police visited the scene, prepared an inquest report, and sent the body to Manikganj Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Manikganj Sadar Police Station, S.M. Aman Ullah, said, “This is a tragic incident. Those involved will be identified and brought to justice soon.”
