Chhatra Shibir-backed panel won the posts of VP, GS, and AGS in JnUCSU election

JnUCSU Correspondent: For the first time in Jagannath University Central Students` Union (JnUCSU) election, the Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir-backed `Odomy Jobiyan Oikya` panel won the posts of VP, GS, and AGS.

Election Commissioner Professor Dr. Kaniz Fatima Kakoli declared the results of the 38 centers of the central union on Wednesday (January 7) at 11:30 pm.

Analysis of the results shows that Shibir-backed Odomy Jobiyan Oikya panel`s VP candidate Riazul Islam won with 5564 votes. His closest rival, Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chatra Dal-backed Oikboddo Nirbhik Jobiyan panel`s VP candidate AKM Rakib got 4688 votes, trailing by 880 votes.

In the GS post, Shibir-backed Odomy Jobiyan Oikya panel`s Abdul Alim Arif got 5470 votes, while his closest rival, Chhatra Dal-backed Oikboddo Nirbik Jobiyan panel`s GS candidate Khadijatul Kubra got 2203 votes. The Shibir-backed GS candidate got 3267 more votes than Chhatra Dal`s.

In the AGS post, Shibir-backed Odomy Jobiyan Oikya panel`s Masud Rana got 5002 votes, while his closest rival, Chhatra Dal-backed Oikboddo Nirbhik Jobiyan panel`s AGS candidate BM Atikur Tanzil got 3868 votes.
