DU Correspondent:`The Orientation Program of the 15th Batch of the Master of Professional Human Resource Management (MPHRM) Program was held at the Department of Management, University of Dhaka.

The program took place on 09 January 2026 at the Dr. Abdullah Farouk Multipurpose Hall (9th Floor), MBA Building, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.

Professor Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Treasurer of the University of Dhaka, attended the program as the Chief Guest. The event was enriched by the presence of Special Guests including Professor Dr. Md. Abbas Ali Khan, Professor Md. Ali Akkas, and Professor Dr. Mohammad Thoufiqul Islam, Chairman of the Department of Management, University of Dhaka.

The Guest of Honor was Ms. Rifat Sultana, Group Head of HR, Rahimafrooz (Bangladesh) Ltd. The program was chaired by Dr. Md. Mesbah Uddin, Professor and Coordinator of the MPHRM Program, Department of Management, University of Dhaka.

Speakers highlighted the importance of professional human resource management education and emphasized the role of the MPHRM program in developing skilled HR professionals and future leaders. They also welcomed the newly admitted students and wished them success in their academic and professional journey.

Faculty members, students of the MPHRM program, and invited guests were present at the event.
