International Desk: On the eve of the Chinese New Year, China Media Group (CMG) held the first rehearsal of its 2026 Spring Festival Gala on Saturday, January 17.

This year’s Gala, celebrating the Year of the Horse, carries the theme: “Joy, Blessings, and Happiness.” Throughout the event, both directly and symbolically, the unstoppable spirit of a galloping horse will be present, representing a vibrant and prosperous new era where culture and technology converge.

The stage design for this year’s CMG Spring Festival Gala will integrate advanced technologies such as AI, AR, and XR to create a three-dimensional visual spectacle. The Gala embodies the concept of “Technology + Art”, combining intelligent technologies in stage design and content creation to bring human imagination to life in a festive atmosphere.

A special feature of this year’s Gala will be the inclusion of robots, showcasing China’s new era of technological advancement.
