A man was killed and two others were injured after a truck collided with a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Banshkhali upazila Chattogram on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened at the Natundighi area of Sadhanpur union on the Patiya-Anwara-Bashkhali road.
Nurul Haque Hawladar, in charge of the Ramdas Munshirhat Police Investigation Centre, confirmed the matter.
The deceased couldn’t identify immediately, he said.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened when the CNG auto rickshaw was returning to Maheshkhali from Chattogram. After the collation one was killed on the spot.
However, two seriously injured were rushed to Chattogram Medical College Hospital, they said.
