Abdullah Bin Abed: Dhaka University Central Students` Union (DUCSU) organized a special workshop today to provide guidance to university students on higher education and research proposal preparation. The topic of the workshop was "How to Find PhD Scholarships and Prepare a Research Proposal".

The workshop was held at the university`s R.C. Majumder Arts Auditorium at 2:00 pm
Thursday (October 16). A large number of students from various faculties and departments of the university participated in the workshop.
The speakers at the workshop were Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, President and CEO of Dreamers Academy Australia and Professor and Chairman of the Department of Business Administration of the International Open University, and Md. Elias Uddin, Assistant Professor of the Department of English, University of Dhaka.
The speakers provided detailed guidance to the students on strategies for finding PhD scholarships, how to successfully write a research proposal, and other preparations required for higher education. The speakers highlighted the importance of developing a research-oriented attitude in the students, saying, “Research is the lifeblood of knowledge acquisition and a good research proposal is the first step to higher education.”
It is worth noting that this workshop has been organized with the aim of making students interested in higher education and research and guiding them on the right path. Such educational and inspirational activities will continue under the initiative of DUCSU in the future as well.
