A defamation case was filed against National Citizen Party (NCP) Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari on Monday for making defamatory statements against Jubo Dal member Rabiul Islam Nayon BNP.
Jubo Dal leader Kazi Mukituzzaman lodged he case with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate`s Court.
The case states that after the fall of the government on August 5, the accused Nasiruddin Patwari has deliberately and purposefully engaged in various false, fabricated, misleading and defamatory propaganda on social media and the news media with the aim of tarnishing the reputation of the BNP.
