| Bangladeshi Scholar Dr. A.K. Azad Presents Paper at International Islamic University Islamabad |

| Special Correspondent: Dr. Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad, Associate Professor of Manarat International University, Bangladesh, presented a research paper at an international seminar titled “Islam, Planning and Development” held at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Pakistan, on Monday, 3 November 2025. The seminar was graced by the Honorable Chief Justice of the Federal Shariah Court, Islamabad, Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwar, who attended as the chief guest. Professor Dr. Nazia Iqbal, Head of the Department of Psychology, and Dr. Masood-Ur-Rahman Khattak of the Department of International Relations also addressed the event. The welcome remarks were delivered by Professor Dr. H. Gufran, Director of Student Affairs at IIUI. Faculty members from various departments and a large number of students were present at the seminar. During his presentation, Dr. A.K. Azad emphasized that Islamic development planning is highly effective for achieving sustainable development. He noted that the holistic development approach in Islam plays a vital role in ensuring both worldly and spiritual success. He added that the development of morally enriched human resources can naturally facilitate broader socio-economic progress. Chief Guest Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwar highlighted the significance of planning and development in the light of Islamic Shariah. He advised students to pursue their career goals based on strong moral values and stability. Following the keynote presentation and the chief guest’s remarks, a question-and-answer session was held, where Dr. Azad and Chief Justice Dr. Anwar engaged with participants.
