Special Correspondent: Hizla Upazila Society, Dhaka, organized a "Harmony Get-together and Prize Distribution Ceremony" at Jamuna Natural Park in Baliyapur, Savar ​on Friday, 23 January 2026.
​The event was presided over by the Society’s Convener, Dr. Dewan Azad Rahman. Gracing the occasion as honored guests were:
​Mohiuddin Khan Mohan, former Assistant Press Secretary to former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, DM Bakiullah, Aftab-e-Alam.
​Moderated by the Society’s Member Secretary, Kazi Emdad Hossain, the discussion featured speeches from:
​Mrs. Tuhin, former Upazila Vice Chairman, ​Md. Solaiman, Kazi Azam, Shah Alam and Kazi Taslim, among others.
​During the discussion, speakers made a sincere appeal to the government to ensure that the upcoming elections are conducted in a free, fair, and neutral manner through a spirit of harmony. The day-long event also featured sports competitions and a vibrant cultural program.
