Mystery Surrounds Death of Young Housewife in Bhola, Family Goes into Hiding

M.A. Mannan, Bhola: Police have recovered the body of a 25-year-old housewife, Sumaiya Akter Mitu, from a flat in the Ukilpara area of Bhola town.

According to police sources, the incident came to light on 4 June (Thursday) at morning when locals informed authorities after noticing suspicious circumstances at the residence. Police and RAB along with Officers later recovered Mitu’s body and sent it to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Following the incident, Mitu’s husband, Sohag and several members of his family, reportedly went into hiding. Police have launched an investigation and are conducting raids to locate the suspects.

Law enforcement officials said the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem examination. Preliminary findings suggest the incident may have involved foul play, although investigators have not yet released an official statement regarding the motive.

The tragic incident has created concern among local residents, while police assured that all those involved will be brought to justice after a thorough investigation.
